THE A7 has reopened near Galashiels following a one-vehicle collision, police have confirmed.
Officers were called to the scene this morning (March 28) after a car crashed into a tree at Buckholm.
The road was shut in both directions, with Borderers warned to expect delays.

But the route has now reopened, according to a Police Scotland spokesperson.
The spokesperson said: “Police were called to a one-car crash on the A7 near Galashiels at just before 8am this morning (Monday, March 28).
“The vehicle hit a tree and the driver was checked over. The road has been reopened.”
