Stokes, who lives in a caravan in Selkirk, attempted to walk out the store with the vacuum cleaners which had no security tags on them but was spotted by staff.
The security tags were found on the store shelf.
She was asked for a receipt but could not produce one.
Not guilty pleas to two assault charges and also behaving in a threatening or abusive manner were accepted by the Crown.
