The latest on coronavirus cases in the Borders
THE Borders has recorded 163 cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, new figures show.
The Scottish Government published updated statistics at 2pm today (April 1).
And the new figures show the Borders has now recorded 29,524 cases of COVID-19 since March 2020.
There are 67 people in hospital in the region with recently confirmed cases – four more than yesterday.
Scotland has now seen 1,800,581 cases since the pandemic began.
There are 2,383 people in hospital across the country.
