THE Borders has recorded 126 cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, new figures show.
The Scottish Government published updated statistics at 2pm today (April 8).
And the new figures show the Borders has now recorded 30,431 cases of COVID-19 since March 2020.
There are 57 people in hospital in the region with recently confirmed cases – three more than yesterday.
Scotland has now seen 1,843,856 cases since the pandemic began.
There are 2,252 people in hospital across the country.
