THIS year's Peebles May Ride was a great success and welcomed a "fantastic" turnout.
The event, organised by Peebles March Riders Association, saw a cavalcade of 35 parade through the town on Sunday, May 15.
It was led by Cornet-Elect Iain Mitchell and Cornet-Elect's Lass Becca Lumsden.
They were supported by their fellow principals and this year's Beltane Queen Elena Chrystie.
Junior member of the association Alex Kelly won the Nancy Burnett Trophy for Best Turned Out, which was judged by 25th year Cornet's Lass Kathleen Millar.
A spokesperson for the May Ride shared on social media: "Fantastic turn out this year with 35 riders on our annual May Ride, what a great number to support our Cornet Elect Iain Mitchell and Cornet Elect’s Lass Becca Lumsden.
"We even had the support from our 2022 Beltane Queen – Elena Chrystie.
"Thank you everyone who helped to make it such a successful day.
"Thank you to the ground support; vehicle support – Graham Irvine and Cammy Scott; photographers; the police; Mike and Louise Forsyth; Ross Philip; Greentree Hotel; landowners; Jim Currie; Kathleen Millar; riders; spare riders and followers, including the YM Dancers."
