A NUMBER of animal cages along with trays, feed stuff and bedding has been dumped at a location between Galashiels and Selkirk, just off the A7.
A local resident who did not want to be identified told the Border Telegraph that this has been an ongoing problem for many years.
Previous instances include multiple dumpings of old carpets and furniture including a three-piece suite.

Drug taking paraphernalia including silver foil and around 60 butane gas cylinders have also been discarded.
The resident asked us not to identify the exact location in case it encourages others to dump property but he expressed his anger at the behaviour.
A Scottish Borders Council spokesperson said: “Flytipping is irresponsible and those carrying out such acts are damaging the Scottish Borders.
