A DISTRAUGHT Borders woman is offering £500 for the return of an engagement ring which was lost during the Selkirk Common Riding Festival celebrations on Friday June 17 2022.
The woman who wishes to remain anonymous was in Market Square Selkirk from 11am then took the shuttle bus to the Rig race Course where she spent time in the Disco tent.
She noticed that the ring, which has huge sentimental value, was missing at 8.15pm.
The ring is described as a solid thick 18ct gold band with five large diamonds in platinum.
The loss has been reported to Police Scotland so the owner ask anyone who finds it to hand it into their nearest police station and the reward of £500 will be available.
