A BORDERS man has been found guilty by a jury of a charge of sexual assault and sexual penetration.
Twenty-three-year-old Shane Kellett had denied the offence which happened in the Borders last year.
But he was convicted of the offence following the jury trial at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.
Kellett, formerly of Galashiels but who gave an address in Newtown St Boswells, had sentence deferred until August 18 for background reports to be prepared and his bail order was continued.
