AFTER a two-year break due to COVID, the Fiona Henderson School of Dance is making a welcome return to the Edinburgh Fringe.
For one night only the dancers will bring their show 'Horizons' to Riddles Court.
School principal Fiona Henderson said: “We are thrilled to be performing at the Festival Fringe again.
"There is something special about being part of the world’s largest arts festival."
She added: "The show, ‘Horizons’ is special because it is a product of a week-long intensive workshop for our senior FHSD dancers who are only actually taught the choreography during the week of the performance itself.
"We call it our ‘senior summer intensive’. Our performers work from 9-5pm for the entire week to learn several brand new pieces and practise them up to a stage-ready level of performance for the end of the week.
"It is a great experience for them and an exciting experience from start to finish.
"The show will include dances created by several visiting guest choreographers to add additional spice and variety to the end result.”
Tickets for Horizons, on Saturday, August 6 at 6.30pm, can be found at the Fringe Box Office.
