AN injured pupil was taken to hospital following an incident at a Galashiels school, according to police.
Officers say they responded to a call to attend the school on Thursday afternoon (September 1).
The pupil was taken to Borders General Hospital for treatment.

There were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident, say police.
Scottish Borders Council has been approached for comment.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.45pm on Thursday (September 1), police were called to a school in Galashiels, following a report of an injured pupil.
“There were no suspicious circumstances and the pupil was conveyed to Borders General Hospital for treatment.”
