Scottish Borders residents have been told to brace themselves for further disruption amid another Met Office yellow weather warning for the region.
The national weather service has put in place the warning from 4am to 10am on Thursday morning and has predicted heavy rain with a chance of flooding.
The rain is expected to flood some homes and businesses and impact bus and train services.

- Flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely
- Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer
- Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer
- Some interruption to power supplies and other services likely

The weather forecaster predicts that the bands of heavy rain will move northwards across Scotland throughout the early morning.
It is expected that around 20-30mm of rain could land over the space of a few hours with some areas likely to get up to 40mm.
The rain is expected to turn more showery later in the morning.
