THE Met Office has updated its yellow weather warning in place for tomorrow (Wednesday, October 5).
On Monday the Met Office issued a yellow warning for wind due to hit the Borders tomorrow, however, the body has since updated this warning.
From 9pm tonight (Tuesday, October 4) until 9am tomorrow, the Borders can expect heavy rain with possible flooding and travel disruption in place.
A Met Office spokesperson said: "A period of heavy rain is likely late evening and overnight.
"Twenty millimetres of rain is expected widely through the period with a few spots seeing 40 to 50 mm, this most likely across the hills.
"This is likely to bring some travel disruption.
"Rain clearing to showers around mid-morning."
The yellow warning for wind has also been updated, with the warning now in place until 11am tomorrow, changed from midnight.
