BACKGROUND reports have been ordered into a Galashiels woman who admitted a charge of child assault.
Thirty-year-old Tanya Gray, of Hawthorn Road, pleaded guilty to striking the boy on the head and kicking him on the body on July 12.
Sentence was deferred at Selkirk Sheriff Court until November 14 for the production of a Criminal Justice Social Work Report and a Restriction of Liberty Order assessment.
