A 21-year-old man was taken to hospital following a one vehicle crash on the A68 which took place around 6.35pm last night. (Sunday October 23)
Emergency services were called to the scene, north of Jedburgh between Bonjedward and the turn-off for Hawick.
Police, ambulances and fire crews from Hawick and Jedburgh dealt with the incident.
The crash resulted in lengthy delays as rescuers worked hard to clear the wreckage.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.35pm on Sunday, 23 October, 2022, officers were called to a report of a one vehicle crash on the A68 near Bonjedward.
“Emergency services attended and a 21-year-old man was taken to hospital.
“Arrangements were made for the vehicle to be uplifted.”
