ROXBURGHSHIRE Federation Scottish Women’s Institute Show was held at the Border Events Centre in Kelso recently.
The event was delayed by a year due to COVID restrictions.
And for many it was the first chance to catch up with friends from across the Borders and further afield.
Guests and visitors were greeted with an amazing display showcasing the many talents of SWI members who were competing for prizes in over 60 classes.
The theme for this show was 'Scottish Books and Authors' – originally chosen to tie in with Walter Scott 250 in 2021.
But it also tied in perfectly with Visit Scotland’s Year of Stories for 2022.
As well as viewing the competition entries, visitors to the show had the opportunity to start some early Christmas shopping at the craft fair and also grab some bargain craft supplies at the Vintage De Stash stall.
Teas, coffee and home bakes were also on offer as well as scones, freshly baked throughout the day.
The next Federation Show is due to take place in 2024 for its centenary year and planning has started already.
