COMMUNITIES in the Borders will once again come together to pay their respects to those who gave their lives in conflict and to honour those currently in service.
On Sunday (November 13) wreaths will be laid at war memorials across the region as part of Remembrance services.
In addition to local church services, a number of towns will also have a procession to war memorials where Acts of Remembrance will be held.
- Earlston: Procession from Parish Church to The Square for a service at 11am
- Galashiels: Procession heading to War Memorial at 12.20pm
- Innerleithen: 11.30am at the Parish Church then 12.30pm at the War Memorial
- Melrose: 10.45am at the War Memorial
- Lauder: 10.50am at the War Memorial
- Oxton: 10.50am at the War Memorial
- Peebles: 10.50am at the War Memorial in the Quadrangle
- Selkirk: 10.30am at the Parish Church for procession to War Memorial
- West Linton: 10.45am at the Parish Church
- Walkerburn: 10.45am at the War Memorial
