THE Proclaimers, one of Scotland’s most iconic bands will be visiting the Borders next summer for one of three tented 6,000 capacity shows in Scotland.
The popular brothers are currently on a 15 month world tour and will appear at the Kelso Showground on Saturday June 10.
Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday November 18 2022 at www.ticketmaster.co.uk.
Since heading back out live in June 2022 with a show stopping main stage set at the Isle of Wight Festival, they have played a series of festivals and concerts in England and Europe.
In addition, they released their immensely acclaimed 12th studio album Dentures Out in September and have just completed a 22 date England & Wales tour.
Craig and Charlie commented “We are looking forward to playing the tented shows next summer.
“These shows always have a great atmosphere and will be extra special because of the fantastic support acts.”
Mark Mackie, director, Regular Music said; “We are delighted to announce the summer 2023 shows for The Proclaimers and a big first for Leith too. Together with shows at Kelso Showground and Glasgow’s Queen’s Park, these are surely going to be the shows of the summer.”
Gates open at 4pm and there will be an artisan food village, a coffee house and licensed bars with picnic tables onsite.
Couple this with the great line-up of supporting artists so lots of reasons to arrive early and make a day of it!
