JEWELLERY has been stolen during a break-in at a house in the Borders, according to police.
The incident is said to have happened at a property on Whytbank Row, Clovenfords, between Sunday (November 20), and Tuesday.
The total value of the stolen items is currently unknown, say police.
Officers in Galashiels have appealed to the public for information following the housebreaking.

Detective constable Jacqueline Douglas, from Galashiels CID, said: “Enquiries have established that the property had been secure on Sunday and it was found broken into on Tuesday.
“Our investigation is ongoing and the total value of the stolen items is yet to be established.
“We would appeal for anyone with information on the break-in, or if you believe you may have seen suspicious activity in the Clovenfords area between these dates, to please come forward.
