DROP IN vaccination clinics are available in the Borders this week for anyone who is eligible to receive a winter vaccination (for flu and/or Covid-19).
These clinics at Selkirk’s Victoria Hall on Tuesday December 6 from 9.30am – 1pm and 1.45pm – 5.30pm and Eyemouth Community Centre on Friday December 9 from 9.30am – 1pm and 1.45pm – 5.30pm’
NHS Borders say that more dates and clinic locations will be added throughout December where capacity allows.
However, you can still book an appointment for your winter vaccines via the online portal if it is more convenient for you.

Eligibility criteria: - Those aged 50 and over and those aged 12 to 64 years with an existing medical condition that puts them at higher risk of severe Covid-19 and flu illness
At least 12 weeks should have passed since receiving your last dose of the Covid-19 vaccine before a booster is administered.
Those eligible who have tested positive for Covid-19 must wait four weeks from the date of a positive test or first symptoms (whichever was first) to get the Covid-19 vaccine.
However, you can still receive the flu vaccination, as long as one week has passed since you tested positive.
