POLICE in the Scottish Borders have charged a 64-year-old man in connection with a crash on the Melrose Bypass, A6091.

The incident took place around 12.45pm on Sunday, December 4 2022 and involved a collision between a car and a female cyclist who was taken to the nearby Borders General Hospital with head, arm and leg injuries.
Earlier this week officers appealed for witnesses including other drivers with dash cam footage.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
