TEAM South have leapfrogged Team North and Midlands to top the Doddie Aid 2023 leader board.
Stuart Hogg captains the team that now have 3296 members and have raised £66,971.
North and Mids, managed by Eve Muirhead who recently came third in this year’s BBC Sports Personality of the Year awards have 3252 members and have raised £65,516.
Sir Chris Hoy captains Team Edinburgh who have 2595 members and have raised £51,995.

The Barbarians, managed by SAS Who Dares Wins star Jason Fox have 2204 members and have raised £44,110.
Team Glasgow managed by Ryan Wilson have 1620 members and have raised £32,370.
And Team Wales, manged by Scott Quinnell have 829 members and have raised £16,360.
So, four days to do before the mass participation events kicks off and there are 13,796 members and an incredible £291,118 has been raised so far.
All the money raised will go to the My name’5 Doddie Foundation and will be used to fund research to end MND.
And Hogg is appealing for more Borderers to join his team.
He said: “All the work that he has done for motor neuron disease and the My name’5 Doddie Foundation is just the beginning.
“We are going to kick start, we are going to increase it and make it even bigger and better than it was before.

“And that starts with Doddie Aid 2023. Please get involved. Download the app ‘Doddie Aid’ and run, swim, cycle, canoe, whatever you want to do, get involved.
“There is only one thing I would like you to do, and that is to join Team South, or as we’d call it Team Sooth.
“We’ve got big names. We’ve got Greg Laidlaw, Lee McKenzie, Carl Hogg, Neil McIlroy, Jill Douglas.
“And we want you to get involved as well.
“All the work that Doddie’s done, let’s continue that legacy and make the big man proud.”
