GYM goers in Galashiels will be able to train 24/7 from next month when fitness chain PureGym opens at the Gala Water Retail Park in the premises formerly occupied by Clark's Shoes.
The gym will open at 12pm on Friday February 10 2023 and core membership starts at £14.99 per month with a £15 joining fee. That rises to £24.99 after six months.

Plus membership which includes access to the all other gyms in the chain throughout the UK starts at £21.99 with a £15 joining fee. That rises to £31.99 after six months.
Both membership packages include access to classes.
Members will be able to train through the night when no staff are in the building with security and safety procedures in place for emergencies.
Every member will be given a unique PIN that needs to be used to gain access through the entry pods each time they visit.

The gym will have automated external defibrillators (AEDs) and first aid kits for emergency assistance. (An AED is a portable electronic device that automatically diagnoses and treats life-threatening heart emergencies.).
Red emergency help points are located throughout the gyms with 2-way communication so that members can speak to someone in the CCTV team to ask for emergency assistance
