A MAN and woman were taken to hospital following a three vehicle crash on the A68 yesterday (Thursday January 19 2023)
Emergency services raced to the scene just south of Earlston around 8.30am.
The road was closed for four hours in both directions to facilitate an investigation and allow recovery of the vehicles.

A 28-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman were taken by ambulance to the nearby Borders General Hospital.
Their condition has not been released.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called to the A68 south of Earlston following a crash involving three vehicles at around 8.30am on Thursday, 19 January, 2023.

"Emergency services attended and a 28-year-old man and 49-year-old woman were taken by ambulance to Borders General Hospital.
“The road reopened around 12.30pm.”
