THE OFFICIAL opening of PureGym in Galashiels which had been scheduled for noon today Friday February 10 2023 has been delayed due to a final permit issue.
Staff are working hard to resolve the problem and hope to open the doors to members next week.
Members were notified by email and can use their PIN at any other PureGym in the country in the meantime.
A planned ceremony involving some 'weel kent' Borderers was cancelled but hopefully will take place soon.
A spokesperson for PureGym said: “We'll keep you updated once we have a new opening date.
“Apologies for the inconvenience and we’re really excited to welcome you to the gym soon."
PureGym is situated in the Gala Water Retail Park in the building previously occupied by Clarks Shoes.
