FINES totalling £420 have been imposed on an agricultural worker who admitted possessing two air rifles and a pistol without the proper certificates.
Thomas Bradbury pleaded guilty to the offences which happened at Satchells Farm near Lilliesleaf on June 3, 2021.
The 25-year-old – who has been working in Congo – travelled back to Selkirk Sheriff Court for the case.
He was fined £140 on each of the three charges and given 28 days to pay.
A £20 Victim Surcharge was added.
