POLICE Scotland has issued advice to motorists ahead of Storm Otto.
A weather warning is in place throughout the country from 3am tomorrow Friday February 17 for strong winds possibly in excess of 75mph.
And there is potential for traffic disruption across Scotland.
Officers say that extra care should be taken in these difficult conditions, particularly drivers of high-sided vehicles and those using exposed routes.
Some roads and bridges could close, and motorists should be aware of flying debris or obstructions.
Please check before you travel and follow the Met Office and Traffic Scotland for more information.
