POLICE in the Scottish Borders are continuing to target speeding drivers throughout the region.
On Thursday February 23, School Link Officer police constable Cameron and Eyemouth Community Officer police constable MacLeod carried out speed checks outside Reston Primary School.
And the officers were really pleased to be joined by some of the children from the nursery who were keen to find out what was going on

Last month officers conducted a number of speed checks in Duns and during the course of the operation three drivers were given warnings.
Speed checks in Earlston led to six drivers being warned and a driver being reported for driving without insurance.

Other roadside checkpoints across the Borders were conducted in Eyemouth, Peebles Galashiels and Selkirk,
Police Scotland says that it is committed to improving road safety and needs motorists to recognise the dangers of speeding and the need to obey speed limits at all times.
