PLANNED roadworks which were scheduled to take place overnight on the A7 have been postponed.
The A7 was due to have been closed in both directions near Selkirk next week between Monday March 6 and Friday March 10.

However road maintenance and management firm BEAR Scotland have confirmed that the work will now take place later this year.
A portable electronic road sign near to the Kingsknowes Roundabout which this week has been warning motorists of the planned closure is set to be turned off.

The new dates will be circulated well in advance.
