A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital following a crash in the Scottish Borders over the weekend.
The crash took place on the A7 near to the Mosspaul Inn between the turn-offs for Phaup Cottage and Hermitage Castle around 2.30pm on Saturday March 11.
The A7 was blocked in both directions and motorists were advised to avoid the area.
The road reopened at 3.50pm
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called to the A7 near the Mosspaul Inn, north of Langholm, at around 2.30pm on Saturday, 11 March following a crash involving a motorcycle.
“Emergency services attended and the motorcyclist has been taken to hospital.
“The road was closed and re-opened around 3.50pm.”
