A WOMAN has been taken by ambulance to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary following a crash this afternoon on a Borders Road.
Emergency services including two fire appliances from Jedburgh and Hawick were called to the B6358 road between Jedburgh and Denholm at the Ruecastle junction around 3.40pm.

The road was closed and police say that their enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said :"Around 3.40 pm on Monday, 13 March 2023, police received a report of a two vehicle crash on the B6358 at the Ruecastle junction.

"Emergency services attended and one woman has been taken by ambulance to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
"Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing."
