DESPITE an appeal by police to ‘do the right thing,’ the driver of the car that struck a 60-year-old woman on the A6091 near to the BGH around 9.50pm on Sunday March 12 has still not come forward.
And the investigation into the hit and run crash is ongoing say police.

The road was closed overnight to facilitate the investigation. And in an appeal the following day, Local Area Commander Chief Inspector Vinnie Fisher said that three cars had been seen in the area at the time of the crash.
They were a silver Ford Fiesta, a red hatchback and a small white hatchback.

“Anyone with information should contact 101 quoting incident number 3303 of 12 March.”
