The Border League final between Melrose and Selkirk takes place tonight Monday, March 20, at Netherdale. (Kick off 7.30pm)
Selkirk qualified for the final after they topped Pool A by a single point from Hawick.
The pair drew 20-20 in the opening Premiership game of the season then Selkirk beat fellow Premiership side Jed-Forest 36-10 in November, giving them seven points.
Hawick’s 22-12 win over Jed meant they finished with six points.
Melrose booked their place in the final with a 29-26 victory over Peebles on Friday February 10.
That result saw them finish top of Pool B with 14 points from three fixtures, having previously beaten Kelso 16-14 in October and Gala 63-15 in November.
Melrose’s last victory was in 2019 and the Souters’ in 2010.
