DETECTIVES in the Scottish Borders are appealing for information after a car was stolen in Peebles following a housebreaking.
The theft took place between the hours of 11pm and 3am on Wednesday March 29, 2023.
The car, a blue Volkswagen Golf R TSI, was taken from a driveway at Whitehaugh Park in the town.

It is believed that the suspects forced their way into the house and stole the car keys.
Officers are currently reviewing relevant CCTV from the area for any additional information.
Detective Constable Claire White of Galashiels CID said: “We are appealing to anyone who was in the area around the time who may have witnessed the incident to get in touch with us.

"In particular, I would ask people to think back and consider if they noticed or heard anything unusual between 11pm and 3am, did you see anyone hanging around?
“ I would also ask anyone with doorbell recording devices to check the footage during those hours as it could have captured images which could assist in our enquiries.”
