TWO people were taken to hospital following a crash on the A701 between Peebles and Penicuik yesterday afternoon (Tuesday April 4)
Emergency services including police officers and ambulance staff were called to the scene at 3.38pm

Some disruption was caused to the flow of traffic whilst officers dealt with the incident.
The Scottish Ambulance Service has not released details of the genders,ages or medical condition of the injured parties.

A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: We received a call at 1538hrs on 4th April to attend a road traffic collision on the A701.
“We dispatched a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance to the scene, and two patients were transported to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. “
