Mr Murray said: “The Global Street Art designers worked hard and we went through several concepts before settling on the final design.
“It was important that the design reflected the history of the business but also stuck to our brand colour palette.
“The idea was to brighten up the front of the shop, but also make it interesting and attractive to customers.

“The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, shoppers have been stopping in the street to comment on how nice it looks.
Alex Dalgetty & Sons have been in Galashiels since around the 1890’s and have been a mainstay of the town centre.
The shop on Bank Street has seen many changes over the years, most recently in 2019 when a stunning refurbishment was carried out.

Mr Murray added: “Everything that we do, in terms of the interior and exterior of the shops is essentially to reflect the high quality, artisan products that we hand make every day.”
The inspiration behind the mural was to add to the work that Energise Galashiels has recently done in the town.
Five stunning hand painted murals have been installed throughout the town centre over the past two years.
He concluded: “We wanted to add to the work that Energise Galashiels have done over the past 2 years.
"The murals really brighten up the town and make it a far more vibrant and interesting town to visit. Every little bit helps to improve our town centre.”
