A media appeal on March 6 regarding a suspect white Ford Tipper like vehicle resulted in new lines of enquiry, however local community officers advise continued vigilance.

This suspect vehicle is still believed to be active across the Scottish Borders.

Related waste is predominately of the gardening and landscaping variety, however domestic and refrigerated waste is also suspected.

Dumping occurs usually in dusk or evening hours and is not confined solely to land areas. Suspects have also been known to dump in the roadway creating obvious risk.
