GALA Boxing Club’s Aqeel Aziz emerged victorious in his first main event at the Glenrothes Home Show on Saturday after securing a unanimous decision over his experience opponent Matty Clark.
From the start of the fight Aziz showcased his superior skills and dominated the bout with his precision striking and impressive footwork.

Despite a valiant effort from his opponent, Aziz remained composed and focussed and was never in any danger of losing the bout.
He had an extremely strong third round, gaining a standing count.
Gala coach Jack Grieve said: “The judges’ scorecards reflected his dominance as he was awarded a well-deserved unanimous decision.
