Rahul’s book brims with brilliant hacks for creating showstopping cakes as well as providing a collection of irresistible recipes.
The trio will be chatting about all things baking and Bake Off – the perfect recipe for a great evening.
Peter said: “I only found out a week ago that there would be the three of us on stage which makes it more of an event for the audience instead of them having to listen to boring old me.
“And it’s great that it’s Giuseppe and Rahul whom I know fairly well from this mad, weird baking world.
“I’m really looking forward to coming because the Borders Book Festival is a fantastic event.”

Peter will be appearing twice on Sunday. He explained: “I’m also doing a demonstration and a chat at the Children’s Book Festival and will be careful not to be patronising to the kids.
“My aunt is a teacher and she told me never to underestimate youngsters who can do incredible things if they are interested.
“So there will be relatively complex bakes for 12-13-year-olds who like a challenge and want to stretch themselves during a school holiday project.”
It has been a busy time for Peter who recently ran the London Marathon with other Bake Off contestants to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital, and his final exams are imminent.
And next year he will take up the post of sports union president at Edinburgh University.
