ORGANISERS have celebrated a successful vintage rally and auction in Kelso this weekend.
The Borders Vintage Agricultural Association (BVAA) annual rally and auction at Springwood Park (Borders Event Centre) saw an array of classic and modern cars, agricultural vehicles and equipment on display.
During Saturday’s auction (May 20) around 1,000 lots were up for sale, and the event had a record number of car boot vendors join the day.
A spokesperson from BVAA shared on social media: “Thanks to everyone who helped out to make it happen, from all the stuff that goes on behind the scenes and all those who helped set up and steward the event without whom it wouldn’t be possible.
“Thanks also to all who exhibited from a huge muckle steam engine down to a garden rake!
“If it wasn’t for you there’d be nothing to see.
“We hope you all got home safe and we look forward to seeing you all next year.”
