WHIPMAN Week is here, and the village is buzzing with excitement.
As one of the first common ridings in the Borders, the Whipman Play Society is set to feature a week of fun activities, including some new additions for 2023, from June 2-11.
Today (Friday, June 2) homes and businesses in the village will be taking part in the best dressed house competitions.
Then this evening Whipman elect Fraser Kay and his Lass Vikki will be installed as this year's principals before leading the float parade.
And last weekend the Whipman festival held its first Kids Ride.
The Whipman Rideout tomorrow (June 3) will leave Howieson Hall at 10am and will return to the village by 3.30pm.
A number of events can be enjoyed for the rest of the week including the dog show, market, pillow fight, and sports day.
