A MOTORIST from Eyemouth who caused a crash on the A1 which injured another woman has been fined £450 and had her licence endorsed with six penalty points.
Fifty-three-year-old Shona Rhind, of Greenburn Farm Cottages, was initially charged with dangerous driving on the A1 northbound at the junction of the B6437 near to Houndwood on April 12 last year.
But following a trial at Jedburgh Sheriff Court last Thursday she was found guilty of the lesser charge of careless driving.
