THE BVAC Classic Festival of Motoring returned to the Borders on Sunday.
And large crowds took advantage of the warm weather to spend Father’s Day at the popular show which was named in The Sunday Times as one of the top 10 motoring events in the UK.
The premier classic car event has been held annually at Thirlestane Castle for more than 15 years and organised by the Borders Vintage Automobile Club.
This festival of motoring attracted more then 1,000 classic and vintage cars of all models and styles, plus motorcycle and military vehicle displays.
This year also saw the addition of live rally action, arena stunt shows, pipe band displays and a children’s play area, combined with plenty of retail, food and drink exhibitors.
