PARTS of Galashiels have no electricity this morning.
A Scottish Power spokesperson said: "Monitoring systems on our network have alerted us to an unexpected fault affecting a number of customers over a wide area.
We are aware of a #POWERCUT in #TD1 #GALASHIELS. Our engineers are working to restore supplies. Sorry for the inconvenience. pic.twitter.com/miKW2SYJ4d

"We apologise for the inconvenience caused, our emergency response teams have been notified and we expect your supply to be restored by 09:45"
