IT’S FINALLY arrived - Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny with some scenes filmed locally at Leaderfoot Viaduct just outside Melrose is in cinemas near you.
In June 2021 Hollywood ‘A’ lister Harrison Ford visited the Scottish Borders to film scenes for the movie.

And before filming, he was spotted in Melrose shopping for some traditional Scottish treats at Martin Baird Butchers and Abbey Fine Wines.
News spread fast and when the 78-year-old star arrived at the Viaduct wearing his trademark leather jacket and fedora hat, crowds gathered on the nearby road bridge to catch a glimpse at the A-lister actor.
Among those present was Border Telegraph Camera Club member Neil Renton who captured the scenes.
Now after a two year plus wait the hugely anticipated movie is on at the Pavilion in Galashiels.

Daredevil archaeologist Indiana Jones races against time to retrieve a legendary dial that can change the course of history.
Accompanied by his goddaughter, he soon finds himself squaring off against Jürgen Voller, a former Nazi who works for NASA.
The film marks an end to the legendary action-adventure franchise over 40 years in the making.
