THE A7 road will be closed between Hawick and Selkirk for nine nights in August.
The work by BEAR Scotland will be carried out on the A7 north and south of Lilliesleaf.
The first work will take place overnight on Thursday August 17 and Friday August 18 between 7.30pm and 6am.

The work will continue between Monday August 21 and Friday August 25.
The final stage will take place between Monday August 28 and Wednesday August 30.

Road users will have to leave the A7 at Hawick / Selkirk and follow the A698, A68 and A699.
This will add approximately 14.4 miles and 24 minutes to affected journeys.
