POLICE in the Scottish Borders have charged a 14-year-old boy in connection with a robbery which took place around just after 10pm on Friday July 7 in Peebles.
Officers issued an appeal for the public’s help and this morning Tuesday July 11 reported that a teenager had been charged.
A report is being prepared for the Children’s reporter.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 14-year-old boy has been charged in connection with a robbery in Peebles.
“The incident took place around 10.05 pm on Friday, 7 July, 2023 on a path leading from the pedestrian bridge on the Cuddyside towards March Street.
“A report will be sent to the Children’s reporter.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
