POLICE say that concerns are growing for the welfare of a missing 14-year-old girl who has links to the Scottish Borders.
Officers have issued an appeal for the help of the public to trace Hollie McKinlay who was last seen around 1.55pm this afternoon Wednesday, July 12, in the McAlpine Court area of Tullibody.

She is described as around 5ft 4ins, of medium build with long, dark brown hair. She was wearing black leggings, a grey zip hoodie top and white Adidas trainers.
Inspector David Ryan said: “Concerns are growing for Hollie’s welfare and we want to make sure she is safe and well.
“Hollie has connections in the Edinburgh area and has also travelled to Hawick and Berwick so we are asking anyone who might have seen her to get in touch.

“She used both buses and trains so we are asking people to keep an eye out if they are also travelling and let us know if they have seen Hollie.”
Anyone who can help is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference 2495 of Wednesday 12 July, 2023.
