A BORDERS road is set to close next week to facilitate landslip repairs according to Scottish Borders Council.

The B6355 road which runs between Eyemouth and Tranent through the Lammermuirs will be closed in both directions at Hungry Snout, north west of Cranshaws from Monday July 24 to Friday July 28.

The road, which is a recommended alternative to the coastal A1 will be closed between 6am to 4pm each day.
The alternative route is via B6355, A6112, A1, B6370 and B6355 to point of closure.
