FROM today July 24 2023 Borders Buses will make improvements service X95 -Edinburgh to Carlisle via Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, Galashiels, Hawick and Langholm.
The service will increase from two hourly to hourly between Edinburgh Bus Station and Galashiels Monday to Saturday.

Buses will leave from (Stance 9) at 15-minutes past the hour from 8.15am to 8.15pm, arriving at the Galashiels Interchange at 50-minutes past the hour until 3.50pm then 42-minutes past the hour until 9.42pm.
Buses going to the capital from Galashiels start at 6.22am then continue at 22-minutes past the hour throughout the day until 6.22pm.

Later journeys to and from Carlisle, Hawick and Edinburgh will be added, with improved connections at Canonbie from Newcastleton.
Claire Lark, Operations Manager at Borders Buses, said: “We are pleased to be in the position to increase the service provision on some of our busier routes and hope our customers take full advantage of these new journeys.
New bus times will soon be available from bordersbuses.co.uk and printed leaflets will be available on bus.
Note: Due to gas works between Galashiels & Selkirk for the next 16 weeks, the X95 & 73 may incur delays up to 20 minutes. Borders Buses apologiese for this inconvience, but it is outwith their control.
