ORGANISERS of Peebles Highland Games are calling on the local community to help run this year’s event.
Volunteers are needed to help in a number of areas at this year’s Games.
Helpers are needed for the main gates, parking attendants, and set up and tidy up.
Volunteers who take on a two-hour shift at the Highland Games will be given free entry to the Games for the remainder of the day.
A spokesperson said: “If anyone is interested in helping out at this well established local event then please contact Chris Patterson by email at cpatterson895@btinternet.com.
“Peebles Highland Games will take place from 11am until 5pm on Saturday, September 2 in Hay Lodge Park and include Pipe Band, Highland Dancing and Heavy Events competitions.”
